Breaking news about Ning networks: April 2010
According to official Ning documents their new CEO will heavily downsize
Ning operation, focus only on Premium services and thereby suspend creating and maintaining free Ning networks. Dela! is a Premium network and will not be affected; however, TeachConnect will most probably go offline in the near future. Please notice that all TeachConnect members - and, in fact, any educators! - are most welcome to register here at Shareanduse (Dela!) and join GoGlobal in order to keep in touch.
Now every page of Dela! also has a GoogleTranslation gadget so everyone should be able to get a pretty good idea about all content on this site. There should also be no problems to participate in the dicussions on this site in English; I'd guess all the members here can communicate in that language as well :)
More info will be mailed to TC members as soon as it will be publicly available from Ning.GoGlobal: Nordic - but international!
An international group in a Swedish network? Indeed so and the goal is to make it easy for schools to get in touch across the borders, whatever the geographical location. Within the European Union, eTwinning
is a great way to connect but now we can offer a 'match making' channel to schools in other parts of the world as well.
The way it's done is through another Ning network where you can log in using your normal Dela! user-id and password (or you credentials from any Ning network). If you don't have a Ning login yet, it takes only a minute or two to fix that at TeachConnect
